DAVID STEIFMAN SCHOLARSHIP
Steifman LLP Managing Partner, Michael Steifman, established the David Steifman Scholarship at New York Law School in 2022. Created in honor of his father, this scholarship aims to contribute to the advancement of the legal industry by supporting current students at NYLS, Michael's alma mater.
The David Steifman Scholarship offers tuition assistance to current students in the NYLS Pro: Evening Division, which Michael was enrolled in as a law student himself. The evening division is predominantly attended by working professionals seeking to pursue a legal education in addition to their full-time job.
The scholarship will be awarded to one student each year, with a preference for those who have a background, interest, or potential to practice in the areas which Steifman LLP focuses on: tax matters, class action litigation, or Native American sovereignty.
